Imagine being a new convert and you are supposed to have your first water baptism in a running dirt stream or river. In the past baptismal candidates of the local SDA churches in Kasese Municipality of Rwenzori Field Conference of Seventh- Day Adventists have been taken to dirt rivers or at swimming pools. Both of these have different problems either due to hygiene and safety or cost and inconvenience that take away from the solemnity of baptism. United Service To Africa donated funds to help complete this all important baptistery project to help ensure sanctity during such solemn events. Prior to the completion of the baptistery at KBLC, two baptisms had taken place, many people from the community have come to the baptism ceremonies. The ceremony has spoken many sermons about baptism without uttering word. Following the completion of the project at the end of the outreach in September 2017 over 3500 were baptized
